Interior & Exterior Surfaces – On cement , concrete substrate , cement backer boards, Bison Panels, Aerocon Sheets, etc..

COVERAGE
Depends on the Porosity of the substrate where it is applied . On a Smooth Cement Plastered Substrate about 16sft/kg at an average recommended thickness of 1-1.5mm.
HOW TO APPLY
The Wall Surface to be applied with Wallz Finisha Putty should be Smooth 2nd Coat Cement Plaster Surface type, free from Structural Crack & having been cured for 28 days. The surface should be free from dirt, oil, grease and other loosely adhered foreign materials.
SURFACE PREPARATION
1. The Cement Plaster Surface should be cured for 28 days to achieve proper strength before application of Wallz Finisha Putty.
2. The Surface should not have any Structural cracks. It should be treated accordingly before application of Wallz Finisha Putty. Incase of a Non Structural Crack it is also to be treated first with appropriated crack filler before applying Wallz Finisha Putty.
3. Ensure the surface is cleaned from all the dust , grease & loose materials with the help of emery stone / putty blade/ wire brush together with clean water.
4. Pre wet the surface before applying Wallz Finisha Putty.

SPECIAL CARE
Also Check the Porosity of the Cement Substrate. Incase it is very Porous, then, IT IS IMPORTANT TO ENSURE THAT CEMENT PLASTER SURFACE SHOULD BE PRE WET TO AN EXTENT THAT IT SHOULD NOT ABSORB WATER FROM WALLZ FINISHA PUTTY COAT . Also take care of Applying WALLZ FINISHA PUTTY ON SURFACE WHICH IS PROTECTED FROM DIRECT SUNLIGHT .
MIXING
Mix Wallz Finisha Wall Putty with around 30 – 35% of clean/potable drinking water to make a paste of workable consistency . The mixing has to be done till a uniform paste is prepared. Use of Slow Paddle mixer is recommended. Once the paste is prepared, leave it for 5 to 10 minutes, to ensure complete reactions of components present in Putty. Mix only that much quantity of Wallz Finisha Putty paste which can be used in 2 hours time.
APPLICATION
1. Clean & Pre wet the cement plaster surface before applying Wallz Finisha Putty.
2. Prepare Wallz Finisha Putty paste which can be used in 2-3 hours time.
3. Apply the first coat of Wallz Finisha Putty on pre wet surface from bottom to upward direction with putty blade.
4. After drying of first coat of Wallz Finisha Putty clean the surface with smooth dry cloth followed by wet cloth.
5. Apply second coat of Wallz Finisha Putty after about 3-4 hrs of first coat.
6. Allow the surface to dry for minimum 12 hours.
7. Wallz Finisha Putty is to be applied in two coats – average maximum thickness of 1.5 mm.
8. Before paint application clean the applied putty surface and use very fine water resistant emery paper ( 500 No and above) to remove and level marks of putty blade on the surface.
9. During application of Wallz Finisha Putty, the surface should be protected from direct sunlight till the two coats of applied putty is dried.
