Description

WALLZ Primer – Exterior is an acrylic copolymer based product suitable for exterior use. This is a water thinnable primer and pigmented white to give reasonable opacity. It sets fast and does not require curing.

Recommended for

Use as a primer over exterior surfaces which are to be coated with acrylic based exterior emulsion paints like Wallz® Acer and Wallz® Tex Matt, Wallz® Top Coat or Wallz® HBAC.

Thinning

To be thinned with clean potable water to obtain brushing consistency in the rtio of primer water – 1:1 (v/v). Primer not to be over thinned.

Coverage

Approximately 140 to 150 Sq.Ft. per litre per single coat depending on porosity and surface condition.

Drying

Within 4-6 hours

DIRECTIONS FOR USE

• Surface Preparation : Remove dust, dirt, grease and loose flaky paint, fungus/algae by thorough wire brushing and cleaning with water and allow to dry.

Exterior rough surfaces previously coated with cement paint should be wire brushed and washed with water thoroughly and allowed to dry.
Newly plastered surfaces are to be fully cured and dried.

• Apply single coat liberally using brush and allow drying for 4-6 hours.
• Apply recommended number of overcoats of smooth emulsion or textured paint.
